If he’s able to do all that and in the process establish a precedent that all of that is within the power of the office of the President, where does that leave us going forward?

Some of this is within the Constitutional power of the President, both directly and because it has already been authorized and funded by Congress. Donald Trump has repeated over and over again that when it is necessary to change a law, he will work with Congress to change the law.

He is already working with Congress. He actually can work with Congress. Now there are other candidates who have not talked about working with Congress, and who have actually said really bad things about current, and likely future, Congressional leaders. Rumor has it that no one actually likes this candidate.
