The race is for delegates not “state wins”. Which is why Cruz should be parked in Florida and Ohio instead of chasing sloppy seconds in Illinois. 165 winner-take-all delegates up for grabs and Cruz looks to get shut out in both those states. Doesn't sound like a winning strategy to me.

Maybe he knows he can’t win in someone’s home state so it’s best to fight where you can win vice fight a losing battle.
