Man, Sasse was the insurgent in the race. He was target #1 for McConnell. It was the topic of a lot of media. McConnell was blackballing anyone consultants who helped Sasse. He’s one of the good ones.

Isn't it amazing how the Trumpsters turn instantly on anyone who does not get aboard the cult of personality?

Who is this guy? A jumped-up first term senator trying to make a name for himself a la Cruz. And he has the personality of a wet sponge congealing on the counter.

He doesn’t want to vote for Trump? Fine. He has two other candidates to vote for. Why is it necessary to go on tv to announce this? It’s interesting that we now have members of the ‘conservative’ movement who are nothing more than opportunists and liars.

Beyond parody?

The GOPee has been held together with baling wire and duct tape...and the willingness of the grass roots to hold their noses and vote for the RINO.

The GOPee risks demonstrating that's a fool's game. They are playing with fire. I guess they get to choose the method of their suicide.

There’s a difference between not getting on board and being a traitor to party and country.

And you believe that two thirds of Republicans are a traitor to their party and country for supporting one of the other candidates?

In some ways it is an 1860 moment.

This election may decide if we get to keep our country..

Ben Sasse apparently does not want us to keep it.

He’s a brilliant young conservative. You Trumplodytes are beyond parody

So was Ryan, Rubio and bunch of lying sacks of sheet that will say anything to get elected and then fall in to line with the Obama wing of the GOP.

Please don't use the word ‘brilliant’ when referring to a politician. It's almost oxymoronic at this point.

Now giving the base the middle finger is a conservative value...who knew?

Sasse goes way back with Romney. Another Rubio here, IMO. Naturally, Cruzies will love him.

Sasse is violating “the pledge” blood oath that was required of Trump. You think that loyalty isn’t a two way street? Just wait. Trump is being magnanimous now but the GOP is playing with fire.

I like Sasse and acknowledge that he is mostly a good guy. However; He supported TPP, TPA and the Corker bill. Therefore, he supports the destruction of the American middle class through rigged trade deals and uncontrolled immigration. He failed to understand that the Corker bill guaranteed Iranian nukes and a financially renewed state sponsor of terrorism. While I like him, forgive me for not seeking his opinion for this presidential election cycle.

Trump is our attempt to keep our country without one.

I read a twitter feed from someone, some weeks ago, that Trump had invested a bit in recruiting US Citizens living abroad, particularly in New Zealand and Australia, to register and vote absentee.

And they all lived in Florida. That's probably what? 11 or 12 people. So Donald's people contacted them by bush telegraph where they are hunkering down near Ayers rock and gave them $6500.00 apiece.

He’s a brilliant young conservative.

He's the most brilliant ever. He's taking the fastest track to losing ever. That seems to be the chief "conservative" trait after handing over the entire government to Odunga. "You haven't read the Federalist papers as much as I have, so I'm going to light myself on fire jump off a cliff over the Rhine and take everybody with me, but not before I get a hug from party leader Rancid Penis.

Yes. Absolutely. Millions of Americans in Australia. All voting in Florida. All for Trump.

Seriously, did you even read my post? Where I clearly identified the rumor as something on my twitter feed from a while ago?

It's nothing more than that. Just something I remembered that pertained to absentee voting, since the article mentioned a large number of absentee votes.

So now the GOPe is threatening us with Civil War if they don’t get their way?

The sad thing is, their corrupt maneuverings to control the election process, together with their sell-out of their voters when they do get into office, have created the basic conditions for a civil war. A huge segment of the population feels, rightly, that they have been disenfranchised and economically strangled..
