Ah the old meaningless "get things done" canard. Get what done? Think the GOPe is going to work to reduce government? I don't, but I'm sure the Democrats would just love to make deals and "get things done"!

we need someone that will GET THINGS DONE, even if it gets a bit ugly at times. That is a very dangerous attitude. It sounds like "to hell with principles, let's get the trains running on time." It is the very same outlook that got Obama elected. People saw in him what they wanted to see.
