Ted Cruz was speaking of the supreme court in this case but its clear that all those in the beltway/media/eastcoast club feel the same. There was a New Yorker who claimed to be a Trump supporter who got the zot here at FR the other day when he complained that Ted Cruz's "Extreme" views on abortion made him electable. The extreme view that Ted Cruz holds? That the unborn are human.

The elites on the court look over much of this country as flyover country. They think that our views are simply parochial and don't deserve to be respected. And Justice Scalia pointed out, I mean, what a crazy system to have the most important issues of our day decided by unelected lawyers.
