I was 100% Cruz in the beginning and was scoffing at the idea of Trump running. Now I’m not so sure. I think Trump may actually have a better shot at winning the general. He has the best political instincts of any novice I’ve ever seen. He has wider appeal. He can get votes Ted won’t.

When Cruz told New York money men Gay Marriage wasn't in his Top 3 concerns he lost me.
Trump probably has a better chance of winning in the general election. Given his success in negotiating, his wild statements may not be so critical on the ground as it were.
