Dear Skeeter,
Most of us Trump supporters, on this thread, have said we would gladly support Cruz, if he were the nominee.
We don’t get that too much, in return, about Trump. You may be one of the very few exceptions.
We are getting a good laugh at the irony of Cruz saying anything about a wall, especially when it relates to Trump. Whoever suggested Cruz use this line should be chastised. It makes him look like he’s reaching real hard to grab onto Trump’s enormous coattails.

Soory, but Cruz was calling for a border wall when your liberal hero was doing a reality show and talking to Howard Stern about Paris Hilton’s sex tape.
Just relax and sit back. It will be a wonderful thing to have a Constitutional conservative and a Christian in the White House. Ted can be trusted to delegate the right job to the proper person.
I like Ted Cruz I just realize he has no chance to win the nomination or the Presidency. Trump is the better choice of the two.
Not only are you trashing ALL Trump supporters, on this site, with unsubstantiated drivel, you're taken to talking about it to another poster, without pinging others.
Not a one of the posters on this thread have "trashed" Cruz. OTOH, many Cruz supporters, here, have thoroughly TRASHED Trump relentlessly on ever single thread they are on and they haunt Trump threads to boot.
Try again. The “thunder” belongs to Cruz, who was calling for a border wall in 2011.
Contrary to the fond wishes of Trump fans, all thought and speech did not originate with your hero.

I don’t have to do anything but sit back and enjoy Trump the way I have been doing since June...watching him show us how these GOPe people and the RINO base, you know them personally don’t you? and the talking heads and the media pull their hair out and stomp around like the little ‘snowflakes’ are doing....
You just run along and sit in your rocking chair and look out the window and dream of the life your living...I’ll even think of you once a year or maybe two....

I think it's a combination of a couple of factors.
One is the personality cult status Trump has achieved with some of them. The prospect of not having him in the news nearly unhinges them.
The second goes directly back to something Rush Limbaugh said: Cruz is just too conservative for some Republicans.
You don't want to see the song she once posted to honor Trump. It was the most godawful embarrassment you could imagine.

Remember how they voted to build a border wall...then they didn’t build it. That was about 10 years ago AND THEY STILL HAVEN’T BUILD IT. We are dealing with people who have no honor. They will pee on your leg and tell you it’s raining.

Actually, that goes back to President Reagan, so it’s many decades ago.

I am completely rational when I disagree with Cruz’s immigration plan. He has no plans to deport any other than those convicted of other crimes. Letting them stay equals amnesty. It means there will be no consequences for breaking our laws. That is the definition of amnesty.
I’ve escaped two ruined border states. I’ve been where English is rarely heard, where crime is rampant, where teachers ignore the white kids because she is teaching the illegals and anchors English, where citizens can’t get a job if they don’t speak Spanish and they had better be educated because the illegals and dishonest employers steal American’s jobs. I’ve met people from another country who waited 10 years and spent thousands of dollars to finally get here - educated, skilled people.
This is coming to all states unless the illegals are forced to leave.
