I don’t see anything in the article at all that makes the argument Cruz is electable, other than the author screaming it. Cruz’s electability issue is with the general election not the primary.
I wish that were not the case, but it is.
Why do you say this?

Excuse me -- wrong pullquote in the previous post...
Cruz is electable. No matter how many times the MSM and Karl Rove says he is not. I have tons of faith in Mr. Cruz.
if you look at the RealClearPolitics polls today, Cruz has a better chance than Trump!
Average-—Cruz vs Clinton-—Clinton +1.3

I remember what the said about Ronald Reagan. Don’t be too sure.

I agree. People here also think Palin is electable, and she certainly is, if the election were limited to FReepers. Cruz has been Palinized, whether we like it or not. He is looked at as some kind of can’t-get-along, self-centered, religious nutcase by probably two thirds of Americans that have any opinion of him. Mind you I’m not giving my opinion of Cruz (which is just the opposite), but rather the narrative that the media has created of him.
He has one way out, which is to be Trump’s VP and be very high profile - let the country get to know him without the media in the way. If he can do that, he’ll then be in a position to win nationally.
