Liberals are alway complaining about rising costs (rent, college, etc)
Have your grocery prices gone up this past year or the year before that or the year before that? Every year we are stunned at the rise in grocery prices.
Will your healthcare premium price go up next year or did it last year? Can you afford the deductible?
No matter how high prices go, we will pay for Obama to have the finest of everything in our White House and he doesn't care what you and I have to pay for anything. He is an abomination.
Ted Cruz does not get freaked out.
Does this clown pay utility bills, buy insurance, or frequent the local grocery store?
I thought Cruz talked about this calmly. Lol.
BLS stats are bulls***. I make supermarket trips infrequently enough I really notice it. Coupled with just the usual generic CA legislative idiocy, you get stuff out here like $5+ loaves of bread and dozen eggs. Granted, I can usually find stuff ~15% less if i buy outside of my “1%er town”...
Food prices sure have gone up. Gasoline has come down quite a bit, so that helps. Housing prices and medical care are higher than ever, and if you’re lucky enough to get a raise, it’s probably not going to be very much.
Figures don’t lie but liars figure!
I say when you can’t get a decent pack of toilet paper for under $ 4.00 that’s inflation.
A pack of cookies $ 4.00
A 16oz bottle of coke $ 1.87
The only real thing that has gone down is a gallon of gasoline.
No, wait, it went up again in the last few days.
Cheapest loaf of bread ?
$ 1.87 $ 2.00
Apparently the author doesn’t do the grocery shopping.
And our corrupt government will also tell you that unemployment is at 5%, even though there are 94 million people out of work.
The useful Shadow Government Statistic website shows their alternative consumer price inflation measure as having a rate of between five and ten percent.
But new data released Friday by the Bureau of Labor Statistics shows that overall, prices aren’t going up. At all.
Forgive me if I DO NOT believe these lying sacks of male bovine excrement.
True, oil prices are down. That’s a big factor in the inflation calculation.
But the price increases throughout the economy that were directly or indirectly caused by high oil prices haven’t gone away. They are still there.
One of the most annoying things about a propaganda mouthpiece is that it expects you to shut your brain off and play dumb along with it.
Give reality my regards when it wakes you up the hard way, Vox.
The author at his rubbish totally discounts the “quantitative easing “ which has flooded our economy with dollars. The Feds don’t include certain numbers anymore in order to make it come out right. Anybody been grocery shopping lately?
Gas has been the only thing that has gone down. Food and services.....especially services has soared
I see the author hasn’t been to a grocery store recently.
