President Barack Obama said the Republican Party has "gone off the deep end" with its messy failure to elect a new speaker of the House of Representatives.

So we finally have some of our Reps fighting for us, and it's a "messy failure"? Not by a long shot, Obie!

This same theme is being broadcast across all media. Huntsman was on FBN this morning touting the "why can't we all just get along" chorus.

He and the host (Maria something) were citing the infighting of electing a Speaker as bad. I think it's a great sign that some of our guys are waking up and finding their backbones!

Obama addressed the drama at an expensive fundraiser at a private home in Los Angeles....

The source of this Yahoo story was L’Agence France-Presse and the reporter didn't even know who the host of the fundraiser was or anyone that was in attendance. ;-)

This says he attended a roundtable discussion at the home of J.J. Abrams and afterward, a private concert in Pacific Palisades at the home of Dr. Robin Berman.

Obama next appeared at a fundraiser hosted by interior designer Michael S. Smith and his partner James Costos, a former HBO executive who is now the U.S. ambassador to Spain. Smith, known as a designer for stars including Steven Spielberg, was chosen to redecorate parts of the White House in 2009.

Donors were gathered on chairs and couches in a large sitting room with high ceilings and a massive pink floral arrangement.

According to the DNC, this event has approximately 50 supporters contributing up to $33,400 a person.



and here: "In Los Angeles, Obama attended his first fundraiser at the home of movie director J.J. Abrams. He then went to a fundraiser for the DNC where about 200 supporters contributed up $33,400. Jamie Foxx and his band performed before Obama spoke."
