Cruz doesn’t seem to have whatever it takes to be a successful candidate

I have seen Reagan ('76 and '84), Bush the Elder, Pat Buchanan, Newt Gingrich, Alan Keyes, Mike Dukakis, Bob Dole as well as Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and Chris Christie. Cruz has what it takes in public. He has the credentials. He has the brain power. He has the energy and will. He has the organization. He has the money. He's fine.

I like Cruz. I just don’t see him getting elected here. But I do see him walking into the presidency if he is Trump’s VP.
