The election is over a year away. Once Trump takes his circus independent or home, actual ideological conservatives will gravitate to Cruz. Not saying he will win, but he is a very strong candidate.
Someone like Bush gets the nod if conservatives remain split throughout the whole cycle. Once the distraction of Trump goes away, I think he inherits some of those people who’ve been starstruck and not thinking through their support of “the Donald”
A bit obnoxious how Cruz plays it safe, trying to be nice to everybody. You gotta take a stand. What Kelly did will only be done again, and it’ll be on Cruz if he begins to lead the pack.

Ted Cruz is right again. There are more important issues we are facing, and Ted Cruz does not let this quarrel distract him from his message.
"Bad enough" for whom? For what?
It isn't all about Trump, or Kelly, or any other of these personalities. It's about the country and the Constitution. Cruz always keeps the proper focus on those two things.
I guess some had said the same thing when Christ submitted himself and went to the cross, allowed the Roman soldiers to beat him, sourge him, and crucify him.

I heard him last night. He was impatient with the whole mess because he understands we need to get back to the important matters at hand. He did say it isn't about defending Trump, and that he wasn't doing that.
He was really angry with Fox for freezing out Cruz.
They can’t fool Cruz. He has more brains in his earlobe than any of the media.
I agree with that "other hand".
Not with everyone. Some focus entirely on Fox, Megyn Kelly, Trump and his hurt feelings. And he loves it that the focus is on him. He always has.
