That was about the most long-winded strawman I’ve seen.

We weren’t discussing candidates’ positions on abortion; the issue was your agreement with Coulter that abortion doesn’t matter until the border is closed.

You can call me insane, or whatever else you want...I really don’t give a damn. But I will note that the accusation of insanity is leveled at me because I advise upholding conservative principles instead of trashing them...including the sanctity of life.

I also note that a socially conservative, pro-life president is termed a “tyrant” by you.

A glance at your posting history tells me where you’re coming from, though. A longtime Freeper recently posted about signups who are largely silent until election time; they crawl out of the woodwork to advocate for the lesser evil, preaching about the folly of holding to conservative principle, and then slink away after the election-—the loss-—is over with.

You signed up in 2006. Your first post was made in 2014. Then, after that single post, you were quiet until this month, when you suddenly remembered you were a Freeper and started to push Trump.

~sigh~ I don't know how you could misunderstand the clear comment I wrote, it's only a couple above your reply, not scrolled several pages away.

Anyway, RE: Coulter: Yes, but I took it further, laying out how it doesn't matter ever - from the standpoint of a Presidential Candidate. We don't give the President any power over the Supreme Court. That's civics 101. Furthermore, I stressed that in this election - when we are standing on the precipice of 35 million or more future (D)ummycrat votes it matters even less than zero. Turn your logic circuits on.

"I will note that the accusation of insanity is leveled at me because I advise upholding conservative principles instead of trashing them...including the sanctity of life."

NO! I said doing the same thing over and over is insane. You can make your own decision if your foot fits that well-defined shoe. You ducked what I really said, which is that we ALWAYS have pro-life candidates, and it has never made an iota of difference. You have the gold-standard for pro-death in the white house right now, and previously you had all those wonderful pro-life Presidents. It doesn't matter. I would NEVER tell you not to care, but I am telling you that you are wasting your time. Confront your cognitive dissonance.

"I also note that a socially conservative, pro-life president is termed a “tyrant” by you."

Boy did you "note" wrong. Completely and utterly and absolutely wrong. I said no such thing. Even Stevie Wonder could see what I meant. I said: we do not elect a tyrant that gets to implement his checklist of voter demands of which abortion is but one of an infinite number of things ... because ... if this was the case then there is no logical reason to worry about these issues in the first place as they are only temporary ... because ... the very next election can undo everything yet again. We are playing their very game, and always losing, by perpetuating and re-exploring this myth again and again.

The myth is that every four years with an election the ship of state can lurch 180° on a dime - and that is so far from what the founders intended as to be laughable. We ourselves are feeding this myth by first believing a Presidential victory leads to national salvation, and by dwelling on such issues such as Abortion, something they cannot change even if they want to, and it actually locks these horrible things into the background radiation. The enemies of the Constitution won the battle in the Supreme Court, and they are laughing as we argue over whether our Presidential candidates are pro-life. The President is not our savior.

First of all, candidates are always going to tell you they are pro-life, okay, feel better? Yes? Well that's why they tell you they are. And that's where it always ends. That's where it will always end as long as the enemy has their Supreme Court firewall. It is why I said - perfectly logically - that it makes as much difference worrying about what football team they root for or how they wear their hair. You could resurrect Andrew Jackson into a pro-life body and even he wouldn't tell the Supreme Court to f*ck off again.

What does this even mean? You think you can deduce anything from looking at Freeper's posting history? What if you found something completely different? Would that change the precise issues being argued here? Of course not. Anyway, you couldn't be more wrong in what you believe you learned. I'm everywhere, in places you wouldn't dare set foot, fighting the good fight for my Constitution, for more years than you could possibly believe. Whether that means anything to you is irrelevant to me, to you and to these issues.
