You’re in the twilight zone. You’ve apparently missed the great dissatisfaction on FR with how our elected Republicans act once they are in office.
Do you really think Trump will be worse than the RINOs we keep electing?
And you’re wrong about Trump not filling in the details. He’s had a 5 point plan of what he plans to do. You’ve either not paid attention or the plan goes over you head so you ignore it.
I have heard him speak and heard is vague plans, but he always dodges when asked about any details which would anger conservatives.
Without the details anyone could be saying what he is saying.
And like all of you, I am mad as hell and want someone to do and say what Trump is saying and doing.
BUT, I want to trust that they mean what they are saying and are not just pulling the age old trick of just telling us what we want to hear until we elect them. The problem is Trump REFUSES to give enough details on ANY plan he has. Every time an interviewer tries to pin him down and force him to reveal details beyond the most basic outlines that nearly everyone agrees on be balks, goes ballistic, attacks the reporter, or switches the subject ect.
Take immigration for instance:
He says its a huge problem (everyone from both sides can say that)
He says he will build a wall (sounds good, some candidates have out and said the same)
He says he will deport the criminal illegals (even the democrats say that)
BUT here is the kicker, when pressed (and he has been pressed MANY times) on what he would do with the REST of the illegals here the 10-15 or more million who are not criminals. (nothing) THAT is what worries me, because THAT is the exact thing that matters the most. Without the answer to that we know nothing except he supports a building a wall and deporting the criminals. Wow big deal.
Now there are two ways to interpret his vagueness:
1. that he is ultra conservative on the issue and would if elected round up all 15 million of them with the US military and push them all back across the border, but he doesn't want to come out and say that because he knows it would doom his chances. ** this seems to be what most Trump supporters believe.**
or 2. that he is fairly liberal on the issue, and would if elected negotiate some sort of comprehensive immigration reform that allowed the law abiding 15 million + illegals to stay in the country, but he doesn't want to come out and say that because he knows it would doom his chances. **this is what I believe**
