I personally believe it’s the former. All you have to do is listen to his delivery. It’s always “I, I, I, me, me, me....they love me, I’ve done so many grand things”, etc.
I’ve never been able to stomach Trump because of his uncontrolled egotism. I haven’t seen a change in him.
Could be, but maybe it’s such a habit that he doesn’t even realize it.
