Look further back in Reagan’s political career.
Nobody took Reagan seriously when he left the Democrat Party in 1962 and ran for office in 1967. An actor, fresh off TV havng been an actor and more recently being the narrator of TV’s Death Valley Days program. He was constantly scorned and ridiculed.
Sound familiar? Undoubtedly.
