The sad part is the fact that we were so much closer to real resolution of many of these issues under a very flawed but able Bush.
Russia at least respected us. Libya was basically tamed, Syria was relatively quiet. Even Iran was at least cautious.
Today the whole mideast is in chaos. Egypt is on the right side of things in spite of Obama. Jordan has a rational king who knows Obama won’t be there forever. African butcher Robert Mugabe is openly laughing at Obama ovder gay marriage.
Bush was a good leader. He does have my respect.
Sadly his skills as a politician led us to Obama, and I do believe Bush was too liberal domestically.
W. was a good man, flawed, but good.
But man, we have swerved so hard off the road and into the woods. Holy smoke things look really, really bad now.
