The FEDERAL GOVERNMENT’S Intrusion into the affairs of the southern states was the REASON for the “Rebellion!” The 10th Amendment was ignored then as it is now! The GUARANTEE of STATES Rights has been TRAMPLED by the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT until it effectively NO LONGER EXISTS!
The FEDS are even trying to tell us what our children should eat for lunch, that they should not have food they like or ever eat a piece of candy. They are to be indoctrinated into the acceptance of ABNORMAL SEXUAL ACTIVITY and every other factor that destroys the MORAL Foundations of this country.
The RESISTANCE of the South is the beginning of the revolt in this country and 1865 did not end it. This very web site exists to provide a place of dissension for the citizen. WHAT in all reality has changed in the last 150 years? The FEDS are still running the show and the guarantees of the Constitution are being ignored! Well, almost nobody. But regardless, you should be free to fly the Confederate flag if you want no matter how poor your understanding of the history of the conflict is. Many people view it as a symbol of slavery. Be that as it may that doesn't give them the right to prevent others for honoring the flag regardless of their reasons. The Constitution gives the first party the right to express their anger. It does not protect them from what is angering them.
