I agree with you 100% on the secrecy. I cannot defend that. I am not defending that.
But I cannot defend agreeing with Warren and the most radical members of our elected government either.
My only point here is this: there is a steaming pile of sh-t on BOTH sides of this issue - and there is very little we know about it. I was posting in response to those who would say Trump is more conservative than Cruz and this trade deal proves it. That’s absrud. And that is really my ONLY point here.
And it’s fine for you to question the integrity of anyone who supports it, but I don’t think in your ignorance, and MY ignorance of this law, that it’s prudent to make it a belleweather issue. It ain’t that.
And it also might be a good idea to hear why Cruz supported it. He was not evasive, he was eloquent - and you and he simply disagree on how job friendly it is. He even made fun of the notion that the liberals are on both sides of this issue.
For the single guy that is leading above all others on Obama CAre, which is about a million times bigger deal than this trade issue, I would think you should/could/would respect that - even in disagreement.
All I know is that there is no one better than Cruz in the race. No one is going to be perfect but I believe Cruz is the one who can take us in the right direction.
I’m not terribly fond of governors. They don’t vote so they avoid that record and then they claim credit for things legislators do. Jenny Granholm signed Michigan’s concealed carry law but that doesn’t make her pro gun.
I don’t care for blowhards like Trump because they’re dishonest and manipulative at their core.
Libertarians will fling themselves off a cliff and be proud doing so as long as they’re wrapped in a flag when they do it. They’re utterly lacking in sensible moderation.
