Yes, but he will have to be dismissed early, because he takes votes out of the hides of those who are more deserving.

Mike Huckabee’s views have “evolved”. He is no longer the country-boy populist he was pictured as in 2008, when his message resonated at a visceral level with so many of the evangelicals and vaguely anti-establishment libertarians. Never much of a conservative, Huckabee is more of a “get-along, go-along” sort of compromiser that could not be counted upon to repeal ineffective legislation, but would work to help “fix” the existing rather rickety framework.
Go for the real thing, Jeb Bush.
