Dead on.

Comment: do you ever hear them advocating larger American families to “fill the needs of the economy” in the future?

No. It’s always “we need more immigrunts”.

But in the past virtually all American growth in populace and capability was internal. The Great Wave simply replaced the natural growth that did not happen due to the generation murdered in the “Civil” war.

And in 1970, the Leftists and their fellow travelers screamed “overpopulation!” and told Americans to have only “replacement families”. The coup de grace of the American family was imposed 3 years later with Roe v. Wade.

And that’s all that’s really going on. It isn’t about “free trade”, “free movement of labor” or any of that other esoteric tripe; simply, replace the population with people that are more compliant and desperate.

THAT’S what’s really going on with all of this.

And most of these immigrants have zero interest in becoming Americans. When my ancestors got here, they wanted to be Americans. They learned English, they adjusted to American society. I think of my ancestors who enlisted during the Civil War, willing to die for their new country. they saved and worked and scrabbled to BUY a farm, not steal one from a native-born American farmer. I look at the pictures of my maternal great-grandfather in his army uniform, able and willing to go back to Europe to kill Germans, his former countrymen. Because he didn't think of himself as German anymore. He thought of himself as an AMERICAN.

Can we expect that kind of loyalty and integration from the majority of these people from India and China? No. They just want to come here, take an American's job, and live off the fat of the best country on earth that other people fought and died to make.
