The Cruz team needs to get some very good advertising/messaging talent. They also need to build a very extensive network of grassroots activists, and the infrastructure to control this network in manner that is nimble and powerful.
Damn...just saw an anti-Rand Paul ad here in soviet Red Hampshire that featured imagery reminiscent of that used against Goldwater in 1964...pretty intense.
It does not take DC very long to corrupt so called Tea Party candidates
who win their districts.
I see no evidence Cruz has been corrupted.
The same cannot be said about Rand Paul and a few others.
Indeed. Hahahaha.
Prayers ongoing, checkbook on hand.
Anyone else on FR planning to send Cruz money - what are we waiting for? I already sent in a generous donation, and I hope others will join me. As the liberal group EMILY’s List says, “Early Money Is Like Yeast” and grows rapidly because it leads to other donations. Give early. Give often. Give Cruz (and FR).
I decided to do a monthly donation. For any who can, I hope you will too.
I’ve sent much more than I really can afford and will do so again and again. I couldn’t participate in the 1980 Reagan campaign since I was in the Army. I may do some kind of yard sale or some such to put together another $100 or more. I’m also beginning to bundle.
Nobody will crush Jeb. He will have to crush himself......which is possible but not likely.
Just donated to the Cruz Missile.....
Ditto. Not very much and still more than I can afford, BUT think I’ll make it ongoing anyway
The Edsel, Ayds Diet Candy and New Coke had millions in marketing dollars, too.
Cruz in the Senate election got lots of door-knocking and Telephone work. And then I sent him money. This time around, when Cruz announced for the presidency, I sent him money.
Whenever he does a great job of whacking the libs, I send him some money. When he asks, I send some money. Yeah, they are small donations, but there are quite a few of them.

This is a telling sight in how fast it was raised, and how fast in time the PAC was put together.
Seems like a lot of conservatives who are in the background are putting their money where their mouth is.
So what’s the deal on contributing to PACs? I know you can only contribute a set amount to one candidate (in a year? need to learn the rules!) but can you give an unlimited amount to a PAC?
The really great thing about this is that it will embolden other givers. Nobody wants to throw money at a loser. Everyone wants the winning horse. This should help establish our boy Cruz as that horse! ;o)
That’s as I understand it, but I’m not an attorney.
I donated. First time I’ve done this in years. No one has come close to what we need till Ted! :)
