I sure hope people donating to PACs know exactly who is running them and whether
they are actually associated with the candidate.

The treasurer for three of the four PACs is Dathan Voelter, an Austin lawyer, longtime
Cruz supporter and former president of the Texas Lyceum. Voelter said Wednesday
that the PACs — whose backers are described as “close, personal friends and
strong supporters” of Cruz — are “just getting started.”

A couple of other super pacs out working are for Rick Perry — Opportunity and
Freedom PAC and Jeb Bush — Right to Rise super PAC.

And .. aside from close personal friends, remember Cruz used to be the boss of about 700 lawyers when he was Solicitor General of TX.
I suspect a lot of those lawyers are some of his primary supporters. Hmmmmm ..?? New DOJ people ..??
