The lack of self-awareness on the part of the left is stunning.

I have to chuckle as this guy has absolutely no insight into himself. LOL!
Just take the words uncompromising, idealogically inflexible and not interested in appealing to conservatives and you have Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.

Only idiots would think a Cruz loss would be a win for the Republicans. Liberals are rooting for a RINO to run against whatever Marxist the Dems are running.

A Ted Cruz win would help the GOP. A loss would relagate the GOP to eternal defeat. Truth.

Ha! I hope Cruz continues to waltz through their nightmares and torment their very souls to the point of unending, inescapeable madness and horror which renders their pathetic little lives a true hell on earth.
That’s everything I want in a GOP nominee.

Its because Cruz represents the best hope of returning sanity to American politics. I agree, but not at all in the manner this loon contemplates.

These drones are incapable of seeing how much more accurately their descriptions fit Øbozo than they do any pubbie - much less Cruz. It is the essence of Liberal Projection.
Personally I think it makes this whole election cycle more fun.

The only hope and its a faint one of returning the GOP to normalcy is by nominating the most extreme, yet still representative, member of the party and having him suffer a monumental electoral loss. and as a liberal, he wants this why?

These drones are incapable of seeing how much more accurately their descriptions fit Øbozo than they do any pubbie - much less Cruz. It is the essence of Liberal Projection. The Greatest crises this country faces is the fact that these @$$holes have a voice to reach the public, and we don't. If News information streams were rivers, this cadre of scum has built fortresses at all the mouths and forks. They totally control entrance to the news streams and they routinely slant all news reports to keep their people from looking like the idiots and liars that they are.
This country is not going to get fixed until these propaganda agents are rendered ineffective. In truth, these people have far too much "free speech" while we have far too little.
We have to get our own voice out there, and to do that we are going to have to take over a Network or something.

A Ted Cruz loss would simply mean to me that the end of this Republic has arrived.
The ramifications of such a scenario are “unspeakable” in a polite society.

"Im rooting for Ted Cruz to be the Republican presidential nominee"
Liar. He fears Cruz because he knows Cruz is smart. articulate, principled, and fearless. And is NOT an extremist, and who - if given a chance to present his case to the American people, unfiltered by media smears - just might be able to win the 2016 election.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
"Smell their fear. No, REALLY smell it."
Yep. And it is NOT a fear that he is really a radical, but that if people are given a chance to listen to him unfiltered, they will agree with him and like him.

The absurdity - the lie - underlying this whole piece is that the self-proclaimed Democratic, progressive author would actually WANT the GOP to recover.
Since he is a progressive, he presumably does NOT want the GOP to recover, but to wither and die, so his opposition to a Cruz candidacy suggests that he thinks such a candidacy would be a threat to his interests and really WOULD help the GOP recover, which he does not want to happen.
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Hes uncompromising, ideologically inflexible, and doesnt appear to be very interested in appealing to non-conservatives. You had me at "Hello."
