The democrats have a weak, corrupt and aging candidate in Hillary and are getting worried. I don’t worry so much about what the media and dems say as it is their nature to lie and demean our candidates.
I am more astounded by the people who posted here the very day Cruz announced, and were already running him down just as they did Perry and others in previous campaigns. Posting large copy and paste ‘supposed’ info over and over and ignoring those who refuted some of that ‘crap’.
As to the comment “He has no significant legislative or leadership record to speak of. — Ted Cruz is not a serious candidate. He is not a serious politician”. They forget that Cruz was Solicitor General of Texas, the State’s chief lawyer before the U.S. Supreme Court.
Cruz’s record of having argued before the Supreme Court 9 times is more than any practicing lawyer in Texas or any current member of congress.
Good post, Potlatch. But you sold him short. Kruz appeared before the Supreme Court 40 times and prepared some 80 briefs for Supreme Court cases.
He is not a lightweight. He has the right stuff.
He has energized me and millions of other conservatives who were beginning to lose hope.
