ALEX WAGNER, MSNBC: Is the sense that Republicans in Congress will try to unwind this [Obama administration executive action on immigration] in the budget process?
LUKE RUSSERT, NBC NEWS: That is certainly an option, Alex, and it is something that they will address while they are in the lame duck to some capacity. I basically heard three things are a possibility.
That they would actually try to strip the funds available to the president to carry out this executive action within the actual budget bill, of course it is due by December 11th, then that would be sent over to the Senate, Reid would say no, and then they go from there.
The other option I've heard is to pass the budget cleanly, avoid any talk of a shutdown and pass an adjoining bill that will speak out against this in some capacity and prohibit funds or something like that.
The last thing I heard, that I think is gaining a little traction right now, is to try to pursue this legally. You heard Speaker John Boehner say that was certainly a possibility in discussions he had with his members, that perhaps he would direct the House counsel or someone else to see whether or not the president has legality to move forward on this regarding an executive action....

How many times have we heard the only legal standing ordinary citizens have is at the ballot box. Newsflash. Doesn’t mean a damned thing.
It is said that the Judicial has the authority to review and reverse Executive Orders. I assume that is what Jonathon Turley will pursue.
don’t believe the media . the media lie and the media want a socialist dictatorship so they will hide Obama’s address and crime tomorow
????
Ted’s gonna walk over to the White House with them?
Sort of just like the Democrats have been doing with Reid.
Russert is obviously clueless. First of all, he called he "continuing resolution" deadline the "budget" deadline. The Obama congress has never passed a budget in all six years. Russert either doesn't know the difference, or he doesn't know what's really happening. Second, he can barely put two words together to make complete sentences. His statement: "That they would actually try to strip the funds available to the president to carry out this executive action within the actual budget bill, of course it is due by December 11th, then that would be sent over to the Senate, Reid would say no, and then they go from there." is hardly insightful commentary.
Cruz said tonight on Megan Kelly’s show that the senate could also refuse to approve any of his appointees. None.
They could place Obama on double-secret probation and not even tell him about it...
