Nancy Pelosi does not believe the midterm results were a Republican wave; she says they were more of a Democratic ebb. And in a new interview, the House Minority Leader says that it didn’t help that voters were distracted during the final leg of the campaign by various international crises.
In an interview with Politico out today, Pelosi continued to insist there was “no wave of approval for the Republicans” and even admitted that Democrats need to do a better job mobilizing voter turnout on their side the next time around.
But when pressed on whether the Democrats lost because of a “failure of politics,” Pelosi completely dismissed that idea:
“I don’t think it was a failure of his message; it was the extent of his success. Let’s say it in a more positive way. This president has accomplished many great things. You know there is always an October eclipse. We couldn’t catch a break.”
Pelosi here is referring to international crises like the fight against ISIS and the brief moment of U.S. panic over Ebola that, she believes, distracted from the Democrats’ economic message.

ISIS and Ebola was the message that YOU, Obama and the rest of the Democrat Party sent to America! In a direct - "in your face and FU America" ISIS sawed of the heads of two Americans and YOU, Obama and the rest of his Democrats shrugged their shoulders about it.
YOU, Obama and the Democrats have engineered the passage of a deadly virus into America that has paralyzed and killed American children; all in an effort to dilute the vote the white, conservative population of America in the future.
Yeah, America heard your message loud and clear!
To these idiot dems that keep saying their stupid voters didn’t understand their brilliant policies, I would say quite the opposite is true. We completely understand what is going on and voted en masse to stop it. Really, how stupid do they think we are?

We should celebrate whenever libs come up with such stupid reasons for their losing.
They are clueless and that is good. As long as they are clueless, they’ll never figure out how to correct their mistakes....
