Good for your state. It’s an undeniable trend all across the country.

The country didn’t change. It’s just that truth is revealed.

In 2nd map what does gray in eastern louisiana represent?

It can only represent the undecided Senate race that's going to be decided on December 6th.

Yea well we all have a fault or two. Well ‘I’ don’t but.... ;)

Normie, that's what I like about you. You're just so humble and self-deprecating. Not an egotistic bone in yer body.

I have to work at it a lot but I really think I have the full measure of my greatness under control. Mostly. But when it peeks out and shows itself to the world, It’s AWESOMeZ. Well how could it not be? Simple logic really.

Or not...Probably not.

Nevermind.

;)

The first few comments on the site are hilarious.

Samuel Conner • 7 hours ago
“There were no unexpected governor wins from either party”. I would suggest Lawrence Hogan’s win in Maryland was unexpected.

John Patrick Darmody II to Samuel Conner • 7 hours ago
And a Republican winning Illinois

Bruce Molon Labe Rice to John Patrick Darmody II • 6 hours ago
First time a presidents home state lost the gov election since 1892

Gorillahead to Bruce Molon Labe Rice • 6 hours ago
Which home state? Kenya?

buckwheat56 to Gorillahead • an hour ago
KENYA is actually a COUNTRY that has a VILLAGE who has LOST ITS IDIOT.I UNDERSTAND they are still looking for him.

John Fish to buckwheat56 • an hour ago
It should be easy to find him. He is always on TV talking about Bush.

If that doesn't say how much this country despises Lord Imam Obama, I don't know what does.

After Carter, his ‘truth’ was covered up a while. But today with the net, now that the dems lost power it won’t be long before all the ‘oppressed peoples’ under the regime will spill guts. We will know many truths before much time passes from many sources now that the sword of Damocles is all but gone from their headspace.

It’s like a Mafia Don whose family is killed from under him.
Nothing left to fear for his former enemies.

Get the condiments out. Popcorn’s nearly ready.

Thank-you so much for the 2012 map. Can you provide the link too?

You can see how CA has become more red inland and towards the coasts. This is encouraging for those Freepers who worry their votes are for naught. The tide is in your favor for 2016.

The upper midwest is filling out red too, except for MN and parts of Iowa and IL, but both have repub governors now, according to Iowa’s map, only one district remained blue and and according to AP’s map, Rauner won all districts. Check out how MI and Wi are turning a lovely shade of red.

New Mexico is voting less Dem and Nevada seems to be a Republican stronghold now. Colorado seems to have their liberals under control in Denver, and although NC seems to have contained their liberal carpetbaggers to their industrial triangle, SC still has lefty sprawl.

Congrats to Perdue who won big in GA, but the dems look to be on the move in his state.

West Texas is turning solidly deep red and the norther Western states are turning completely to the right.

However, my home state is faltering, especially in the southern parts that are staying stubbornly blue or trending away from the right, which infuriates me because we do have a lot of conservatives, but we also have problems with the border, lame candidates, and really ridiculous gerrymandering concocted with out side of the legislature that though they dominated, wanted to be “fair.”

I also noticed that

Maine is gathering strength as a Repub state but its left coast counterpart Oregon has its coast completely strangled now.

I wish the GOP would just stop trying un basket case states and use the fourtens spent in them shoring up their border states. Nevada, AZ ect.

Drive liberals to the basket cases. Make them attractive by making red states liberal hell. The more libs you concentrate, the less power they have nationally.

Very good idea. In AZ we gave a model of capitalistic zeal with the help of conservative ideals in Phoenix, unfortunately, we also have the failed city of Tucson, that keeps falling further behind.

I hope our new governor Scott “Coldstone Creamery” Ducey can do a little hustling and do as he promised and get our state taxes as close to possible to zero, so we can show the rest of the US and make this a business magnet state like Texas is.

We have pretty bold legislatures, and this time it passed that we do not have to aid and abet anything the federal government wants, if we find it unconstitutional.

Like when we mirrored the federal government’s border policy, and we got rammed by Holder, I expect the same.

It would really be great if we upheld the framers idea that the states would be sovereign, and the perfect testing grounds for new ideas that people would either support or decline by their residence and their prosperity.

I’m a fellow Zonie. Colorado River division ;) Fear me. I am on the front lines of the invasion defense when the feral hordes run out of food in LA ;)

I am SO glad Leatherface is going away. Rino enabling Obama cowering fraud that she is. Love Trent too even though he has too many party loyalties, he’s hard right conservative.

Got to interview him on his first run. He spent 45 min in the parking lot with me talking politics after the interview and made his ‘people’ crazy. Good man. Real human being.

The Asian numbers are interesting. They’re figuring out their natural political home in the American system.

You're welcome, Lulu. I got the image off a general search, but here's the URL info embedded in it:

I'm sorry that I don't know the original source.
