Too early to even speculate. This time in 2008 everyone would bet money it was going to be Hillary vs Giuliani...

Ugh, don’t argue from an affirmative action standpoint, that really cheapens whatever politician you’re attempting to talk up. Cruz doesn’t deserve the “oh, and he’s Hispanic” stuff.

Major problem: If Carson is in the veep spot, that’s proof the Republicans are racist.
Otherwise, it’s the best suggested ticket I’ve seen.
To: Cruz_West_Paul2016
They can't bash a minority ticket.Democrats can do whatever they **** well please. If the GOP ticket were Cruz/Carson, they could pull out Jose Jimenez and Stephen Fetchit skits on SNL and no one in the media would bat an eye. Remember the Aunt Jemima parodies of Dr. Condoleezza Rice?
Bottom line: never never never never never underestimate the ability of the opposition to sink to the lowest level necessary, and then sink lower just to make sure.

Crus ought to be at the top of the ticket. He’s the professional.
But I’m all in favor of the Latino / Black ticket!

Forget it. No Senators, no outside private citizens who haven’t been elected to public office.

if its Carson/Cruz, I will be looking forward to the “First Black President”.

I would not vote for that ticket just because cruz is on it. I will Never vote for a non Natural Born Citizen.

I don’t know if it would be the GOP’s best chance to win, but I and my entire family would vote for that combination.

Or Jeb Bush! Now he’s being pushed by Fox!
To: Uncle Miltie
Cruz as veep will allow him to kick asses behind the scenes.
Also as President of the Senate.
The GOPe will shit themselves.

After Obama I don’t think Carson has one chance in hell of winning.

Would love it! Bring it on. But I’m afraid the Stupid-Dumbass Party will give us Bush III and some other squishy middle of the roader.

I don’t do identity politics, and I am definitely not going to vote for someone based on skin color/ethnicity.

I like it too. As far as the inevitable accusation of racism, we could counter with "You think the hispanic guy should be second on the ticket? Why do you hate hispanics?" Then watch the eyes roll around in the head of liberals like in the old Warner Bros. cartoons.
