Exactly. This is simply smart tactics. This 'war' will be a "long, hard slog" of incremental gains. Fight like hell in the primary but at least beat the RATS at a minimum in the general. Majority Leader should be permanently detached from Dingy Harry Reid!

And empowering Ted Cruz is not that FAR AWAY ... he already had NINETEEN in September, 2013 and TWENTY-SIX would constitute a majority of the majority.

The GOP Senate leaders have brought Cruz into their camp with some limited responsibilities, but does that mean any change in the GOPe’s positions on amnesty or Obamcare etc. etc.

I say NO.

95 percent of elected Republicans either repudiate or fake conservatism.

Its that bad.

A GOP President and Congress resembling the current makeup of members would amend Obamacare and keep it. They would also end up with amnesty of some sort and likely create a new national sales tax like Canada’s GST.

We need something like a UKIP and someone like Farage in this country....
