“I will vote Republican in November, but I wont be happy about it.”
No, that was the last few elections. This time, it’s:
“I am only going to vote for conservative candidates. If a race is between a Republican liberal and a Democrat, I’m just not going to vote in that race. But I will vote for every conservative on the ballot.”
The truth of the matter is that a RINO is actually a worse enemy to conservatives than is a Democrat.
But the good news is that the Tea Party has thinned the RINO ranks considerably. Every RINO who loses a race to *whoever*, is a critical loss to the Republican establishment. They take many more hits, and conservatives will be able to take over the party, and not have to worry about getting stabbed in the back.
If enough RINOs lose in this election, it might be the tipping point. This means that conservatives will be able to take over the Republican National Convention, purge all the remaining RINOs from leadership positions, and nominate a CONSERVATIVE to run for president, for once.
It will finally turn the tide against the Democrat enemy.
So please, don’t vote for somebody just because they have an (R) after their name. Because it truly matters.
Thanks for the pep talk - you are right. I was where you are last year and changed my mind after the primaries. John Cornyn isn’t getting my vote in November!
