Guess he forgot about Ike and how he destroyed the Rats as a Non-Incumbent. I was wondering the same thing. BOTH parties wanted Eisenhower to run on their ticket, Truman even offered to step aside and be his running mate in 1948.

Sadly, the era of electing people based on critical thinking through qualifications and issues is long gone. We are in the era of “American Idol” politics.

I.e. our future is pretty clear. And bleak.

He said that in 2008... Now, now, we mustn't overlook the "nuance" that liberals so love, he is saying "non-incumbent" here. In 2008 she was still a senator.

Wow. What does non-incumbant mean? That she’s not in office? Not running for re-election? Eisenhouser, Reagan? Were they qualified?
If this lady gets the nomination and the presidency, then something is definitely wrong past wrong here in this country.

More like a media created paper tiger to me who sucks at campaigning and has no accomplishments, but hey if it gets you through the day and makes you think that your party will win handily in 2016, then be my guest.

And Reagan who had to win despite a relatively strong third party candidate.
