Exit question: Isnt all of this just a variation on the old debate of whether its better to back strong conservatives in every race and risk ending up with a very principled congressional minority or better to support RINOs strategically in some states where conservatives are less likely to win and maybe achieve a squishier majority?
Ideology is only one factor in winning or losing races. The most electable candidate is somethings the more conservative candidate. Sometimes it isn't. Is the candidate competent? Is he a loose cannon. Does he have a good campaign work ethic. Is the campaign organized?
He’s only a toe or two better than Dick Morris in my book
