Clicking through channels, I briefly saw Carl Rowan discussing gun control. Isn’t Rowan the guy who shot a young kid who invaded his backyard swimming pool on a hot night way back when?
Carl wasn't all liberal bluff and bluster. He was worth listening to since he had ACCESS to the big dogs and occasionally would pass on some necessary nugget of knowledge.
BTW, working in America's most thoroughly integrated institution ~ the postal service ~ i learned to just whiz on by the de rigueur black nonsense these guys spew ~ which i gather bothers a lot of people not used to that sort o thing.
Look, they don't all believe all the stuff they come up with ~ but there's this street cred problem. They know the producers want to think they have a real black man on board ~ so they do the act.
