On August 1, 2009--just seven months into President Barack Obama’s first term--former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin predicted Obama would attempt to leverage health care to "take away" the Second Amendment rights of Americans.
In a speech to National Rifle Association members in Anchorage, Alaska, Palin said Americans should be “wary” of this “tie-in” because Obama would attempt to “take away our rights under the guise of some new health care plan”:
And by the way, [with] health care being so big in D.C. right now, be wary when some kind of tie-in occurs. Because it will crop up: a tie-in with guns in an attempt to take away our rights under the guise of some new health care plan. You know that this is coming--that the two issues will somehow crop up and they'll be tied together. So we have to be very wary of that.

On Wednesday--more than three years after Palin’s warning--Obama did exactly what the former governor forecasted.
During a press conference wherein he issued 23 executive actions regarding guns and unveiled his gun control proposals, including a ban on so-called assault weapons, Obama said "doctors and other health care providers also need to be able to ask about firearms in their patients’ homes and safe storage of those firearms, especially if their patients show signs of certain mental illnesses or if they have a young child or mentally ill family member at home."
To make it easier for doctors to do so, Obama also issued executive actions...

It’s not the first thing she’s been right about vis-a-vis Obama, and it will not be the last.
If you have a moment, say a prayer for your nation. It really needs it right about now.
And let’s hope that while she is pretty darned quiet right now, that those who previously wished her ill are reaping what they sowed and perhaps, upon reconsideration, will be open to her advice as to how to restore this nation to the political philosophies that made her great.

I first voted in 1968 and have actively watched each and every swearing in / inauguration since. This morning I honestly had tears in my eyes for our great country, when the “wise Latina” swore in Joe Biden. The tears came when she uttered the words “against enemies foreign and domestic”. Flashes of treason - yes treason and dictatorship went through my mind. Indeed, say a prayer for this great nation. We shall survive.
You are right. Add in the most evil and deceptive MSM, the Hollywood - (to this day I cannot stand to look at Tina Fey), the lazy, cowering GOPe that have tossed out every T.E.A. Party member from committees. You are right.
Can you ever believe that the MSM and radical lefties would not only criticize, disagree, but lie about, start her church on fire,send lawyers to Alaska, file law suits to purposely cost the Palin family money, go after her children relentlessly and on and on, endlessly. It's one thing to disagree but quite another to purposely try to DESTROY a person. GOP never, ever stood up for her. And NO I will NEVER, EVER forgive McCain and his wretched campaign staff, Schultz and that other gal, for assisting in that entire process. And you can't prove me wrong, can you? When you're fighting the sleazy Dems AND the sleazy GOPe’s, you tread carefully, hence Sarah is quiet for now. We need her.

Our country is in such deep trouble, and I don’t think it will make it thru the 2nd term of obummer. He is deliberately focused on so radically transforming this country that he will keep up his attack on the 2nd amendment rights and the foolish MSM, the dumbocrats, and too many stupid citizens will be right there supporting him. Those of us who oppose them will be treated the same way as the Palins, and even worse. Sadly, I believe this is all the way it is supposed to be so that God’s plan unfolds.

Amen twice. God is watching us. I hope He is also continuing to bless us. He works His wonders in mysterious ways ... I pray for something along the lines of a Christian revival in terms of its common-sense core morality, which frankly, has proven more successful than any other major religion. There. I said it.
I pray for that recognition. I also pray that social conservatives realize that exercising moral control through government leads to bad consequences no matter who does it or why. Government is easily as responsible as any other factor in forcing us to live immorally -- our money (via taxes to welfare) is used to sponsor sloth and immorality, even abortion, a horrible evil. Christian charity, probably the most moral obligation in life, is the job of free people. When the government takes it over -- which it has, immorality results.
Your tagline is off target. It says: This great nation has chosen socialism over freedom and our constitution.
Wrong. This great nation has been stolen by a minority that has coerced and cheated and deceived in order to get where it is. This is the inevitable result. This is what happens when a minority tries to enforce its will on a majority.
