I propose that conservatives, in whatever color state they live, vote for Romney-Ryan. I want Obama to be TROUNCED, HUMILIATED, both in the electoral vote and in the popular vote. Also, as a conservative, I have been relieved to see Romney campaign--both in the primary season and in the general election, no etch-a-sketching--against Obamacare, against Roe v. Wade, and against homosexual "marriage." And putting Ryan on the ticket was a big plus.
If Romney wavers during his presidency, let's "encourage" him then. But for now, I say a united front for Romney is the way to go.
This is a very good point. Even if you live in a "lost state" (deep blue), your vote still counts in the national PV total. We all know this doesn't decide the Presidency, but it has symbolic value in that if our candidate can get over 50% of the PV, the media can't hang that "plurality President" tag on him. Remember that the 'Rats are always great ones for claiming a "mandate" even if they win an election by one vote. Let's work to get our candidate as many votes as we can to counter that kind of crap. We can claim a legitimate mandate if we crack the 50% barrier by a significant amount.
