But Obama doesn’t even “claim” to be pro life. And maybe Romney’s conversion is real. Isn’t it a good thing when people change to a more correcet viewpoint? And in any event, even if Romney was faking, I would guess it was his pro-choice stance that was a fake to get elected in MA, while his true inclinations were pro-life (based on his religion and family life), just like my assumption is that Obama has been pro-same sex marriage all along but was pretending to be against for political purposes.

WRONG. Barack Obama’s argument is the SAME as Romney has begun to make:

“”No one is pro-abortion. I think it’s always a tragic situation,” said Senator Obama. He acknowledged a role for the law in dealing with abortion, saying, “I am completely supportive of a ban on late-term abortions, partial-birth or otherwise, as long as there’s an exception for the mother’s health and life.””
