Rather than debate the argument provided, you prefer the "but he's our rascal" argument. You can have that rascal if you want him. But as your lack of debate portrays, there is no "conservative" argument for supporting Romney. There is an "anti-Obama" argument, and there is a "pro-GOP" argument. But there is no "conservative" rationale whatsoever for pulling the lever for Romney. So, a large number of us conservatives won't do it. It's our vote and we reserve it for candidates sharing more than a modicum of conservative values. A level of which Romney does not even aspire to reach. If the GOPe wants us at the prom, they should pick a better dance partner for us. If they do not, it's high time we picked a better school. I'm actually very impressed that so many here at FR haven't been fooled and are resisting the urge to make 2012 a John McCain election redux. Romney made his own bed; now he is lying in it. And I hope every conservative in the nation sees him for what he is. If folks are going to become part of the "progressive" problem by supporting Romney, they should at least do so with their eyes open.

Wrong, wrong and wrong - you obviously have no clue what I am saying.

Talking to you people is like beating one's head against a stone wall.
