Cruz is the one who started with the negative attack ads accusing Dewhurst of not even being a conservative, of being a RINO, and distorting Dewhurst successful record as a Lt. Governor. As Romney has proven so recently, the attack ads work, they put the attacked candidate on the defensive, and the attacked candidate has no chance unless he returns fire.
He who attacks first should not complain when the one he fired at, fires back.
Besides, we all know Cruz has no record and the false attacks are the only way a candidate who has no accomplishments in legislation, leadership, military, private business, or previous elective offices held, can compete against the experienced, proven, highly successful conservative Lt. Governor Dewhurst.
