I never thought Dubya was dumb. Even before this, I had severe reservations about saying the same about Rick Perry.

Palin may not have been the only factor that put Perry over in 2010, but her endorsement sure didn’t hurt him, did it? And he sure didn’t seem to mind the out-of-state help, did he?

And the whole “y’all outside folk don’t understand how things work down here“ leaves me cold. If you’re down to that gambit, you’ve lost the argument already.
