Jim DeMint came to Rock Hill today to answer questions and lay it on the line.
He said he knows the press does not want to know what he thinks, they want something to back the story they already wrote, so to get his message out he speaks to the people.
DeMint has been encouraged by the few new senators who joined his effort to keep saying no to more government, as he has done alone for so many years. He said that his Senate Conservatives Fund, among others, has helped put true conservatives in the spotlight, to increase their chances of winning in their state, as it did with Marco Rubio and Rand Paul.
He said states are banding together promoting the right to work, and to keep the federal government out of their business, as the 10th amendments declares.
His positions on the Banking and the Commerce Committees makes clear the ruinous trail the Federal Reserve is taking us on and he relayed that Romney has listened to Ron Paul’s forewarning and if Romney becomes President he will push for at least a review of the Federal Reserve. They print 40% more money to buy our country’s debt, by way of Wall Street since they can’t legally do it directly (Wall Street who contributes by a ratio of five to one to the Democrats). The Fed was also given the mandate by Congress to keep people employed, which has contributed to the debacle.
He describes Obama’s true persuasion – he is a bully, a deceiver, and has done nothing to improve this country but has only helped destroy it. If Obama stays in office he will continue to raise the debt by a trillion a year just as he has so far. His administration has helped government get their hands into almost every area of the formerly private sector.
Regarding the Federal Export-Import Bank four year agreement, DeMint said our country backed loans for purchases by foreign countries for up to 100 million dollars. In renewing the bill, politicians including SC’s Lindsay Graham want to raise it to 140 Million, while the government doesn’t guarantee similar loans to companies in the United States. The people of the U.S. should not have to back anyone’s loans. Obama’s administrations took it upon the government tax payers to back student loans, which are going to go bankrupt, as is the FDIC.
He believes in term limits and will not run again in 2016 but says Mick Mulvaney, the new House Representative who beat Spratt, can handle his job. DeMint will keep backing the true conservatives to help them get elected.
He spoke about 1 ½ hrs. I wish I recorded it.

What they WON'T tell you upfront, like a dishonest stock broker, is, that it is a subtle effort to get people in The Base to surrender, sell out, rationalize, and "come around" and support Romney. They cannot so clearly come out for Romney directly yet as they know they tread Zot! territory, so it will be very anti-Obama with a tinge of Romney talk about it, OR it will be postulating a Conservative VP choice while staying CLEARLY away from the 800-pound R(H)INO in the room, and that is, OK, THEN, JUST WHO WOULD THIS RUNNING MATE "RUN" WITH??!!, and better yet, how can it be that this Presidential candidate has the GOP nomination officially??
It is going to get very interesting here with a lot of RINO sleeper cell type political provocateurs sticking their heads up from the groundhog holes.
Frankly, there are already trolls who aren’t getting ZOT’ted pimping Willard on here, and not in a very subtle way, either. If Willard indeed steals (and yes, it is theft, because when you LIE and buy support in order to obtain something you can win by honorable means, it is stealing) the nomination, any candidate who allows him or herself to be used by him (and make no mistake, Slick Willard is a first-class user) is going to lose whatever credibility they may have had as a Conservative.
Unless I’m mistaken, the (formerly) respectable Joe Scarborough (ex-Congressman and now media whore) made a bizarre comment (was it yesterday ?) that a supposed majority of the RINO establishment believes Willard will lose the general election. Well, if these guys believe it, why the f*** are they shoving this lying, Socialist con-artist down our throats ?
In any event, if this is our damnation, I ain’t staying on the RINO Titanic. McCain was the very last straw, and Willard makes Johnnie look like Jesse Helms. Absent Santorum or some surprise credible Conservative nominated at a brokered convention (Palin; WI Gov. Scott Walker), I’ll vote for a Conservative in November, probably ex-Congressman Virgil Goode, the likely Constitution Party nominee (with apologies to Tom Hoefling, our FReeper Presidential candidate). There’s nothing that can be said to me, threatened to me, or sold to me on God’s Green Earth that will convince me to vote for that vile, pathological liar & megalomaniac Willard. You can’t beat Zero by running his lighter-skinned twin.

Funny thing is it all started when I put up my Herman Cain sign in the yard before Gloria Allred found that hooker pig to slander Herman Cain.
Then I had my Newt sign till he got blown out of the water and finally put up my Santorum sign and after they consistently called the village on me I realized they were Obama worshipers.

The guy was a psycho promoting his website, myself as well as several other FReepers mocked him as being a "Pimp Blogger" and no response... Some tool tried to legitimize the guy's poll by saying I needed "a rabies shot", I responded, "Have you taken a statistics course?" Of course no response.
Why admins let people pimp their blogs is beyond me. Especially this nut, he goes on a tirade about how the White Sox need to be banned and our World Series stripped. My guess, MAJOR MAJOR MAJOR closet case. I probably should email the blogger and tell him to watch Bravo so he can discover himself :)
I will gladly admit I supported Newt, I drank champagne when he won South Carolina but after the blowout in the south my vote in Illinois went to Rick. Why? Newt didn't campaign and had no chance, Ron Paul is a nut, and Rommney.... well hell I don't have to tell you, we know what we'd get from RINO Romney, Gay Marriage, maybe NAMBLA given tax exempt status, Abortion on demand, Sandra Fluke would probably be surgeon general.....
So yeah I voted with my heart religiously, does that make me bad?

I will always vote with my heart and my soul. I stand by voting for Rick and would do it again but I'm an honest Illinois voter and only vote once unlike the rats who vote dozens of times and have their dead relatives vote as well!!!
Overall, it sucks as far as the "I'll vote for Obama over Romney stuff". I want ONE FReeper who has met Obama face to face, for 10 minutes one on one with no interference tell me that. I will swear on a Bible, take a lie detector test or whatever you want. I met Obama, spoke for 10 minutes, got his autograph, called my mother and said I met the next President and he is pure evil, this was in 2005...
If you have met Obama and will vote for him over Romney? Then may God have mercy on your soul. I've never got a worse vibe than meeting Emperor Zero. I would write in Jack Bauer before Obama. I'm not going to trumpet Mittens because the Establishment gave him the race. But if you think for one second that I will vote for the man I gazed eyes with and saw pure evil, then I'm on the wrong website.
DeMint for VP 2012!! He has had a couple of missteps but Overall I would venture to say one of the Best Republican Senators in DC!! Almost makes up for the other RINO Senator SC has......
The conservative bloggers knew he was the one to go to for the real truth about what was going on, he bestowed no excuses on behalf of stupid republican senate mates to placate his party.
He is one honest man who has had to maintain his integrity without support among his peers, only his constituents gave him the praise he is due.
I dare say anyone who feels they could do the same should run for senate instead of criticize him.

If DeMint is conservative, why is he supporting a liberal/socialist establishment RINO who believes in:
- Govt/Socialist heath care
- Globull warming
- Cap-N-Trade/Tax
- homosexual “marriage”
- killing unborn children
