“Pray for a brokered convention.”
I really wanted Newt, but he just isn’t winning.
How will a brokered convention really help us? If things keep going as they are Romulus will get it or be so close an alternative candidate won’t be offered.
Has this happened in the past?
I am thinking that now that Newt is going down, we have no alternative but to start support Ricky. Where else can we turn?
The only thing that makes me smile is that Ron Paul won’t be the nominee!
Yes.
Then “you don’t love the constitution” do you? LOL
No. I don’t. I want to see Newt in the White House.
Not the way the Ron Paul backers do...:)
“Id better stop now before I say what Im really thinking.”
-tumblindice
Why not state Frum for what he is?
I can’t stand Frum. But that is what is going to happen.
We will be running on Bishop Rick’s social agenda because he has no real economic reform to offer. He’s a big government guy who wants the Nanny to be a Catholic rather than a social marxist. I’d take Rick’s nanny over Obama’s slut nanny.
I share your desire, but not the word that you use to describe it. The word "brokered" carries a negative connotation that is aimed at making us believe that we must choose our nominee before the Convention or face disaster. Hogwash - choosing nominees is what conventions are for!
What I desire is an open convention, with Mitt Romney at 40 and the Not-Mitt Romneys at 60%. After the first ballot, the delegates will be free to choose our nominee. That's why they're there, and I'll support the nominee.
We’re screwed.
“Romneybot Frum dismisses Gingrich. Which explains why Gingrich must stay in the race. If Gingrich is out, Romney will have the nomination wrapped up.”
You got it, Mark.
GO NEWT!
“The Santorum candidacy pushes Republicans toward an election in which the issues are religious.... “
Whatever “religious” attacks may be made against Santorum by the ‘rats, they will be -nothing- compared to the anti-Mormon attacks made on Mr. Romney by the left and by the media.
Mr. Frum, get a clue.
I agree with you.
Frum is another Romniac who has made it a point to trash Palin, tea partyers, and conservatives in general.
The fact that a guy like him supports Romney is yet more indication that Romney is bad news.
When Palin was being trashed without mercy... by Repubs no less, I said that I would take notice who her attackers wound up working for, and I would never support that person. Surprise, surprise, they almost all turn out to be working for Romney.
Why is it always conservatives “who are doing this to their party”?
Why are the conservatives always the problem? Could they not just be REACTING to the people in the party causing the problems?
It’s time to start rejecting these premises by, frankly, liberals pretending to be open-minded compromise whores, that I believe want to be seen as great peacemakers and thus, feel they are the real powerbrokers that get the deals “done”.
Neither. It's Arabic--a place near Dubai.
التصويت لسانتوروم!
hmmmm, verbrato. Would that be a pulsating verb? You do know what a portmanteau is right?
I think the term you were searching for is vibrato.
Okay, you asked for it. (sorry safari and IE users, this will not play for you...):
Hoo! woo! woo! Be afraid Rove...
In this election the issues are religious, cultural, sexual, as well as economic. And constitutional. Most people know that.
I don't pay no never mind about it.
Shows they are scared. GOOD.
