When one candidate has most of the money, establishment, and MSM behind him, the playing field isn’t level. This is what Sarah was referencing.
I also think that is what Palin was referring to, but even if primaries were held until the cows come home, there will not be a level playing field. The establishment and media will openly or "subtly" choose the candidates, then give the public its (the establishment's) choice.
