It ain’t a BIRTHER issue Andy. Get up to speed, it is a CONSTITUTIONAL ONE. One SCOTUS has already dealt with in Minor v. Happersett 1875.

““The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners.” Minor v. Happersett, 88 U.S. 162, 168.”

Stop being a snarky bither-baiter and recognize that this is the real issue - the constitution and SCOTUS Decisions STILL in force today! Obama did a BRILLIANT job in distracting the simple minded with the birth certificate issue which is IRRELEVANT. The cretin admits he isn’t an NBC by stating in the open that he was born under the British Nationality Act of 1948.

Now, neither Jindall nor Rubio was born to parents who were CITIZENS. Just like Obama, neither man is a Natural Born Citizen, they inherited the citizenship of their parents at birth. To be an NBC you can be born with only one possible citizenship and that REQUIRES that both parents be citizens of this country and be born here.

This is KNOWN now. Give up on Rubio and Jindall, they are constitutional DEAD ENDS. They cannot ever qualify for POTUS.

Your citation does not deal with native-born children of foreign-born parents. And I'm not "baiting" anyone. I'm just pointing out that the reason birthers keep losing in court (over and over) is because of legal history, stare decisis and, yes, Constitutional interpretation. I know that some people disagree, but no Federal Court has yet found their arguments compelling. When one does, I will be glad to reconsider my own opinion.
