I don’t “spit” on Perry, I just point out his weakness, like coddling illegals, calling us heartless, you know, the usual stuff that I never hear conservatives doing.
As to your question. I just don’t get as wound up about the VP and I don’t have a big litmus test. In fact, I voted for Reagan in 1980, fully knowing that the MODERATE, George H. W. Bush was also on the ballot. I assume that you would have instead voted for Carter (or Anderson), or sat it out?
