I heard a speech Newt gave in Iowa recently. It was broadcast on C-Span. He laid out a new contract with America that listed the major challenges facing America and how he intended to deal with them. The fact is he is the most intelligent and well-informed candidate running and he has a clear vision of what needs to be done to, as he puts it, “save the country.” He said he wants seven, three- hour debates with Obama with no moderator. Imagine how he could manhandle Obama in a debate. I’d pay to see it.

I won’t vote for either of them, but I agree that Newt is a good debater.

Newt was a genius back in the 90’s but kind of gained some baggage after that. Well, they all have some baggage.

Newt can handle the politic end and Herman can handle the domestic part.
