In 2009, Alaska’s budget was 8.9 billion, and there were about 700,000 people. That’s $12,535 per person.
Why are we comparing apples and oranges?
The 2006 alaska budget was 7.4 billion. So the budget went up by 20% in her 3 years. That’s not quite 100% in 10 years, but it’s in the same ballpark. The 2000-2010 difference was 5.6 billion to 9.5 billion, over a 90% increase.
Yeah, and BEFORE RICK PERRY it was HALF of the tax burden.
