Well, my understanding is that they're masking the total amount by doing a trillion right away, and then doing the rest by spring, after another phony committee meets.
All along, the "leaders" of both parties have been focused on borrowing in excess of two trillion more. One way or another, all their "plans" do that.
So, it is quite obvious that all this hullabaloo is nothing more than positioning for the next election and nothing else. They're deciding who gets what political cover.
The amount of the loot has never been the issue. It's how do they deal with the politics. How can they successfully fool the people once again.
