Sarah is far far far far and away better than the Huckster
Ron Paul (born August 20, 1935)..... getting a little old, don’t you think?
It won’t be Huckabee.
Ron Paul/Cindy Sheehan of course. /sarc
Fraud Paul is getting old in more than just age.
Simply saying such a thing does not make it so, my friend.
Sarah Palin's 18 year record of public service has been scrutinized and analyzed on this website, and throughout cyberspace for over two years now. On just this one website, literally thousands of individual minds have performed a monumental and intensive examination of her qualifications and experience, and have given her their highest marks. She is without doubt, the most vetted potential presidential candidate in US history.
Another thing... The eventual winner of the Republican nomination will have to have the backing of the Tea Parties. As of now, Sarah Palin is the overwhelming favorite among Tea Partiers and like-minded patriot rebels.
Huck doesn't have anywhere near the sort of standing with the Tea Parties that Sarah Palin does. Neither does Mitt. That's your top tier. All of the other usual suspects are in the second or third tier of potential hopefuls.
You may as well get prepared to vote for Palin for president, because that's who our nominee is going to be.
Sarah
actually hucky could.... simply the reason is the media will not bash a pastor in some fear of....i pick Sarah and she so dang hot
Ron Paul may be old...but what has youth brought to the table..socialism. Ron is a true patriot, and a statesman.
Why even juxtapose them like that? It’s like saying, “Who do you want, Sarah Palin or Spongebob Squarepants?”
NO ONE is clamoring for Huckabee to run except Huckabee. Sarah Palin attracts thousands wherever she goes, her books fly off the shelves, and she’s singlehandedly launched a podunk cable network. She is a STAR and I would follow her anywhere — just like Ronald Reagan.
I can answer this way, if Huckabee is the nominee, I won’t vote for him. If Palin is, I will think about it. Gone are the days when I will vote for a party or their canned message. Unless a candidate has the message of small 10th amendment style govt as a goal, and is honest, I will not support them with a vote.
I think he’s a crank, (basely enitrely on his votes and politcal positions), and he *is* too old to be taken seriously for a run at president.
Missing from the discussion so far is: who will win California, Illinois, New York, the New England states, Washington and Oregon, and all the states that have been very blue for the last several presidential elections?
Those states also hold Republican primaries and elect delegates to the Republican convention. I doubt Palin or Huckabee will be especially strong in those states. Whether it’s Romney or Pawlenty or someone else, some primary candidate will win a good chunk of votes in the blue states.
Still a lot of unknowns about the coming Republican primaries.
You made me stop and realize that I've never seen a Huckbot here. Nowhere else, for that matter.
In fact, the only positive mentions I've seen about him are in the left-wing media. I've never talked to anyone who supports him for president, nor have I ever seen such a post online. Anywhere.
As far as I can tell, it's only the pundits and the left-wing media that are keeping his name alive. I'm not sure why he gets so many mentions around here. He's a non-starter.
He would take votes away from any real conservative in the South.
He's Mitt's stalking horse.
I with you completely.
A Palin candidacy gives us a Democrat president. So does a Huckabee or a Romney candidacy
We are so screwed.
