Words are but symbols—arbitrary symbols. In a very significant sense, “arbitrary” tells us the symbols themselves don’t really matter.
Meaning is the true essence of language. It’s abstract, thus more difficult to grasp than concrete things like words.
Sarah Palin successfully conveys meaning through various media, demonstrating she fully comprehends the essence of language. At this point, her single-handed defeat of the entire American media shows her to be a genius.
Her detractors, in failing to understand her (or what I said in this post), have proven to be the opposite.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. Social media is the wave of the future. Get in now or be left behind.
Let’s also not forget this article is about a movement that has a very nice website that’s easy to use with great info. Oh, and it’s coming up at the top in the Google results. Nothing to see here except a brilliant campaign to speak DIRECTLY with the people sans the MSM. I get Sarah tweets on my phone. If it weren’t for my super duper information gathering skills and FR, Sarah would put me in touch with what’s going on from her eyes. Beat that!
